WORLD PEACE III

The World Peace Event III stands as a global gathering to celebrate the power of peace as the foundation for human progress. 


The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) remind us that there can be no sustainable development without peace- and no peace without development. 


Goal 16 emphasizes: “Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development.” 


Our theme, “Peace for a Prosperous Future,” grows directly from this belief. It expresses our shared understanding that prosperity whether social, cultural, or economic- is possible only when grounded in harmony, respect, and cooperation. This year’s program is designed to reflect these ideas: the spiritual depth of Lumbini and the Ramagrama, the intellectual and cultural dialogues of the panels and artists, and the collective spirit of action that connects reflection to progress. 


The World Peace Event III brings together people from different backgrounds and beliefs, yet with one shared intention- to understand, practice, and strengthen peace in their own fields, whether in governance, art, business, or daily life.

THE GLOBAL PEACE AMBASSADOR

 Wuluohai’s story begins in the quiet mountains of southwest China, where she grew up listening to the wind, the rivers, and the ancient songs of her Buyi ancestors. 


Over the years, she has walked from village to village, collecting melodies that were almost lost to time. She has rebuilt old instruments with her own hands, recorded the voices of elders, and helped revive more than 300 ancient songs. 

 Today, Wuluohai stands as a Global Peace Ambassador and Vice-Chair of the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Development. 

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
